Great overcast conditions, low track temps, and ambient air temps in the low 60's. Testing out the new MT drag radials with great anticipation. First run an 11.8 @121 w/ 1.77 60. Not bad but i could have done better. Second run prepare the two step @ 4k with 10psi.......launch..........snap. Pass. side axle goes. After searching on TT.net I am confused as to what I should do. Naturally i would switch over to a tt subframe with leader gears but i would have to change the one piece driveshaft and deal with the hicas delete on the TT subframe itself. Not having a TT chassis I am confused as to what unforseen difficulties may arise during the course of this improvment.
By the way tt axles wont fit an NA diff for what reason? Anyone found anyone who makes NA axles that are cryo/shotpeened?
Any help is much appriciated.
